As I've said before - not every book can be a win or even an average read! Dnfs can actually be quite healthy.
So let's see what didn't work for me for these 3 books.
Read my review to see what I think of Abandoned Things, a fun read about what happens when an author's popular fantasy web novel is suddenly real!
It features a really snarky love interest who is just good at everything and a lot of mentions of writing which I related to so much!
It's sort of like The Hunger Games, but for adults. And then you add the fae in it and secrets!
All in all, a pretty good read! Come and read what I thought about it.
I was really impressed for a debut novel as to how polished and well-written it is. I can only hope that Kim's future novels are even better.
If you're looking for a compelling enemies-to-lovers book with a side of "come here, I just want to stab you" you've definitely come to the right book review!
Are you looking for an immersive and well-written start to a fantasy series? Look no further than The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah!
I really recommend this book, especially if you need something fresh in the fantasy genre or just in general!
A bit more difficult to review than normal books - poetry doesn't really have characters or plots but I managed to write 3 reviews! Come and look!
Reforged is a breath of fresh air for me and I'm even now more wanting to get back into the adult fantasy genre!
Read this to see what I thought of this new book!
2020 was... a year. So it only makes sense that I didn't get to all my arcs that year.
So here we are! Nearly... 3 years later (BIG whoops).
2 dnf reviews, both quick ones that I really tried to read.
Goth Girl, Queen of the Universe by Lindsay S. Zrull and Burn Down, Rise Up by Vincent Tirado.
I was actually on sports teams in school! Netball for a bit and then I switched over to field hockey and chess. I loved hockey and chess! Come and see what I thought about Michigan vs the Boys, a YA Contemporary novel with a fierce lead and made me want to watch ice hockey!
