3 DNF Book Reviews || Starting the Year Off Strong

As I've said before - not every book can be a win or even an average read! Dnfs can actually be quite healthy. So let's see what didn't work for me for these 3 books.

Abandoned Things by Chani Lynn Feener (BOOK REVIEW) || A dream right here?

Read my review to see what I think of Abandoned Things, a fun read about what happens when an author's popular fantasy web novel is suddenly real! It features a really snarky love interest who is just good at everything and a lot of mentions of writing which I related to so much!

Trial of the Sun Queen by Nisha J. Tuli (BOOK REVIEW) || Finding Mrs Sun Queen

It's sort of like The Hunger Games, but for adults. And then you add the fae in it and secrets! All in all, a pretty good read! Come and read what I thought about it.

Last of the Talons by Sophie Kim (BOOK REVIEW) || It has all the good tropes!

I was really impressed for a debut novel as to how polished and well-written it is. I can only hope that Kim's future novels are even better. If you're looking for a compelling enemies-to-lovers book with a side of "come here, I just want to stab you" you've definitely come to the right book review!

The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah (BOOK REVIEW) || A Must-Read!

Are you looking for an immersive and well-written start to a fantasy series? Look no further than The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah! I really recommend this book, especially if you need something fresh in the fantasy genre or just in general!

Long-Overdue Mini-Reviews || 2020 was a long year, okay?

2020 was... a year. So it only makes sense that I didn't get to all my arcs that year. So here we are! Nearly... 3 years later (BIG whoops).

2 Did Not Finish Reviews (BOOK REVIEWS) || Two misses and that’s that

2 dnf reviews, both quick ones that I really tried to read. Goth Girl, Queen of the Universe by Lindsay S. Zrull and Burn Down, Rise Up by Vincent Tirado.

Michigan vs the Boys by Carrie S. Allen (Review) || Me vs wanting to hit the team

I was actually on sports teams in school! Netball for a bit and then I switched over to field hockey and chess. I loved hockey and chess! Come and see what I thought about Michigan vs the Boys, a YA Contemporary novel with a fierce lead and made me want to watch ice hockey!
