Do food and murder go together? Find out in Mystery on the Menu by Nicole Kimberling. It's three short stories in one book and follows a quirky restaurant owner for whom murder just seems to follow!
No, really, (hot) Deputy Big Mac! Drew doesn't go looking for trouble!
Come and read my thoughts on it!
We'll Never Tell by Wendy Heard takes what could be very simple - YouTubers breaking in somewhere for yet another video - and ups the stakes, creating a much different story that I ended up enjoying a lot!
Read to see what I thought of this book. Thank you TBR and Beyond Tours for the review copy.
The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich by Deya Muniz was an absolutely delight to read! It's so sweet and just low-stress - perfect when I've read a lot of fantasy books with stakes recently.
Come see how much I enjoyed reading and then maybe make yourself a grilled cheese sandwich afterwards?
Queried Sick by Dallas Smith was a warm hug of a book. Friendship that turns into love, a cat, and weird sentences all go well together and formed a book I loved!
As I say a lot - not all books can be winners! I actually think it's better that we get disappointments? Because then there's usually a really good read waiting for you around the corner!
So come and read what I thought about House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson - spoiler alert, it wasn't good.
Read my review to see what I think of Abandoned Things, a fun read about what happens when an author's popular fantasy web novel is suddenly real!
It features a really snarky love interest who is just good at everything and a lot of mentions of writing which I related to so much!
This book is amazing and I enjoyed every part of reading it! Come and see exactly what I loved about it!
Thank you once again to TBR and Beyond Tours for the e-arc and a spot on the blog tour!
Reforged is a breath of fresh air for me and I'm even now more wanting to get back into the adult fantasy genre!
Read this to see what I thought of this new book!
As I'm cleaning out my Netgalley shelf and finding books that I don't want to finish it.
Come and read 3 books I realised I wasn't interested in reading!
Listen, as much as I like a good, old horror story, especially if there's a big house in it - I would turn down an invitation to Harrow House 😂. But Helen Vaughan definitely doesn't as she has to spend a whole year at her very creepy family home. Come read my review of how much I loved it!.
