I love having and knowing book quotes – I have a whole folder of book quotes and I often will just browse Pinterest looking at them. Unsurprisingly, Goodreads’ quote page is difficult to maneuver. But nevertheless! I have managed to scrounge together 5 book quotes I really like! Want more Top 5 Tuesday posts? Go look at Meeghan @ Meeghan Reads! Want more book quote? β€œI wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.
“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

β€œYou keep asking why your work is not enough, and I don’t know how to answer that, because it is enough to exist in the world and marvel at it. You don’t need to justify that, or earn it. You are allowed to just live.”
― Becky Chambers, A Psalm for the Wild-Built

β€œIt’s never enough, is it? Time. We always think we have so much of it, but when it really counts, we don’t have enough at all.”
― T.J. Klune, Under the Whispering Door

β€œIt’s a doggy-dog world out there,” Julian sighed. The corner of Yadriel’s mouth twitched. “Dog-eat-dog.” “Whatever.” – Aiden Thomas, Cemetery Boys

β€œBooks have to be heavy because the whole world’s inside them.”
― Cornelia Funke, Inkheart
