I always love seeing bones on books. What can I say? My years of watching horror movies means I like weird things (I suppose I’ll include myself in that category 😂) and bones are definitely weird. Like, are they just… permanently wet under our skin and muscles? And if you’ve a body like mine, you stand up and your bones force you to sit back down again!

Little Thieves by Margaret Owen (GR/SG) – I’ll probably reread this before the end of the year because I absolutely loved it – ooh, I can do it in audio this time hehe. Anyway, I love this cover and how it could fit several prompts – jewelry, animal, more than one colour… I could go on!
The Undertaking of Hart and Mercy by Megan Bannen (GR/SG) – The cover looks so cute and the tagline – True Love might be the death of them – and I love the trope of people messaging with others and not realise the person they don’t really like is the one they’re communicating with.
Hart is a marshal, tasked with patrolling the strange and magical wilds of Tanria. It’s an unforgiving job, and Hart’s got nothing but time to ponder his loneliness.
Mercy never has a moment to herself. She’s been single-handedly keeping Birdsall & Son Undertakers afloat in defiance of sullen jerks like Hart, who seems to have a gift for showing up right when her patience is thinnest.

Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco (GR/SG/My Review) – I think I’ll just keep repeating this book until the third comes out – at the end of September!! So soon!!! I love this series and I’m excited to reread the series when the last book comes out!
