Top 5 (covers of 2021) Tuesday

Oh wow. Listen, Meeghan, I’m definitely not able to keep to 5 books this week! Absolutely love this prompt so go look at which book covers she really loved here! As I’ve included nearly 10 books, I won’t be including their synopses (otherwise this would be a very long post 😄. But you can see those synopses if you click on the links 🤗.

📚🚀📚

We Free the Stars by Hafsah Faizal (GR/SG) – I’ve read the first book and loved it and now will have to reread the first book to finish the duology. But I don’t mind because I really liked it! And the first book’s cover is also gorgeous. Faizal really struck out with these covers. Can’t wait to see A Tempest of Teas!

The Dead and the Dark by Courtney Gould (GR/SG) – Somebody kick my behind to get to me to read this one because the cover + the premise is just too good and I need to get to it.

The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He (GR/SG) – Yes, hello, please watch me as I SCREAM at how pretty this cover is. And the end pages! They’re so pretty.

A Dark and Starless Forest by Sarah Hollowell (GR/SG) – This cover is beautiful and the synopsis is also very interesting – like her siblings go missing, their family lives in an isolated house by the lake, MAGIC AND A SUPER CREEPY FOREST? Sign me up for all of that!

Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim (GR/SG) – Listen, I would let someone punch me in order to get a copy of this book. Especially the Fairyloot edition. Three punches for the Fairyloot edition. I’m not kidding, who wants to make an appointment?

In Deeper Waters by F.T. Lukens (GR/SG) – Now that I’ve read this I can definitely say that the story inside the super sweet cover outside! And now I want to be a mermaid even more! But at the same time I also wanna be a pirate so I guess I’ll just be both? Who knows?!

One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston (GR/SG) – It’s just so soft and so pretty. I love it and want to stroke the cover at least 50 times in an hour.

Little Thieves by Margaret Owen (GR/SG) – I’ve seen a lot of the special editions for this title and you know what’s looking really good? Heists to pull off all the money needed to buy all of these editions. For legal reasons, this is a joke. Well, maybe it’s a half-joke.

The Wolf and the Woodsman by Ava Reid (GR/SG) – Gorgeous cover, love it so much! I love how there’s a double meaning in the cover and the colours! And the way the trees are drawn are cool too!

Lost in the Never Woods by Aiden Thomas (GR/SG) – Retellings! Retellings for days! I love Peter Pan retellings and this one is a new favourite! I love this cover so much, if I could I would just stare at it all day.

Tidesong by Wendy Xu (GR/SG) – The same Wendy Xu that gave us Mooncakes! This cover is just so beautiful! This one looks so cute!

📚🚀📚

11! That’s 11 covers! And about a hundred more I could add. What are some really pretty covers of books that came out this year that you really loved? Tell me below because I love to look at super pretty books!
