Top 5 (books on my 2021 wishlist) Tuesday

I mean if I had my way and had the financial ability to do so, I’d wake up in a room full of books. But unfortunately all I can do is just put books on my wishlist and just focus on the first part of the word (wish).

It’s a new month and therefore there are new Top 5 Tuesday prompts! Go see which books Meeghan has on her wishlist here!

📚🚀📚

KKingdom of the Wicked - Kerri Maniscalcoingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco (GR/SG) – I know I just finished this book (and the sequel) but I actually just wanna read it again! And hopefully Kerri reveals book 3’s title and release date. I’d love to get my hands on it and read the first two books again. I listened to the first book so, so quickly and then when I tried to speed through the second book’s audiobook I couldn’t and had to go through it slowly.

Though I don’t regret speeding through the first book! I absolutely loved them.

fntp64usb53qijo6cguruf87bsavThe Taking of Jake Livingston by Ryan Douglass (GR/SG) – Absolutely loved this book. I listened to it in audio and had 2 narrators (One for Jake, one for Sawyer) and it was really well produced. I’d love to have this as a physical copy and be able to reread it and get scared all over again.

xtcbt1wbaxjfani0upvn6of2x98t (1)Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (GR/SG) – I think I’ll use this book as a reward! Finish your reading goal and you can read it! Literally just checked Libby now and it’s a 6 week wait so just put it on hold now as I’m nearly finished with 2 audiobooks and I have the next two books for the one series!

I definitely would love this book! Now I’m even more excited to get my hands (or rather, ears) on it and read the heck out of it! Maybe it’ll be one of the first books I read in January! Other than a whole lot of Enid Blyton.

56179338 (1)All of Us Villains by Amanda Foody and Christine Lynn Herman (GR/SG) – Listen, Kal @ Reader Voracious loved it (here’s her review) and that’s all I need to know to know that I need this book. But seriously, this book sounds absolutely amazing!! It’s like Hunger Games but they compete for magic – so of course this is a must read!

54017820 (1)Little Thieves by Margaret Owen (GR/SG) – I did not think it would be possible to get me interested in a retelling of The Goose Girl?? Which is a fairytale I barely remember? But Margaret Owen somehow does it! I still need to read her other duology. But I’m pretty sure I’ll really like her!

📚🚀📚

Do I have a list of books I’d like to get my hands on? Well, I have a note of books I need to look to look out for at 2nd book stores! And updated every time I get a book in a specific series. So that’s sort of the same? Mostly because I’m more likely to buy second hand books than brand new books.

But yes! I do mostly know which books I’d love to get my hands on! How about you? What are some book you’re wishing or wanting to get? Tell me down below in the comments!

  1. OMG yes!! If I hadn’t waited for my copy of Kingdom of the Wicked to arrive before reading then I would be in the same boat with you!! And I had a copy of Little Thieves in the November Illumicrate and I cannot wait to start it!! It’s absolutely stunning. 😍
