Itās the perfect wedding venue for a group of thrill-seeking friends.
But a night of food, drinks, and games quickly spirals into a nightmare. For lurking in the shadows is the ghost bride with a black smile and a hungry heart.
And she gets lonely down there in the dirt.
If you see the cover and it doesn’t utterly frighten you, you’re sure to survive the zombie apocalypse. But why get married in a HAUNTED HOUSE?

Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir (GR/SG) – The Emperor needs necromancers.. The Ninth Necromancer needs a swordswoman.
Gideon has a sword, some dirty magazines, and no more time for undead bullshit.

She packs up her sword, her shoes, and her dirty magazines, and prepares to launch her daring escape. But her childhood nemesis won’t set her free without a service.
Harrowhark Nonagesimus, Reverend Daughter of the Ninth House and bone witch extraordinaire, has been summoned into action. The Emperor has invited the heirs to each of his loyal Houses to a deadly trial of wits and skill. If Harrowhark succeeds she will become an immortal, all-powerful servant of the Resurrection, but no necromancer can ascend without their cavalier. Without Gideon’s sword, Harrow will fail, and the Ninth House will die.
Of course, some things are better left dead.
Maybe I’ll just wait until the series is all done? š I love this cover a lot and the sequel’s is really good too!

The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling (GR/SG) – A thrilling, atmospheric debut with the intensive drive of The Martian and Gravity and the creeping dread of Annihilation, in which a caver on a foreign planet finds herself on a terrifying psychological and emotional journey for survival.

Keeping her sane.
Instead, she got Em.
Em sees nothing wrong with controlling Gyreās body with drugs or withholding critical information to āensure the smooth operationā of her expedition. Em knows all about Gyreās falsified credentials, and has no qualms using them as a leashāand a lash. And Em has secrets, too . . .

Creepy hand on the cover?? CAVE SCENES?? Yes, hello, I’ve seen the book I’ll read at night š

What Big Teeth by Rose Szabo (GR/SG) – Rose Szabo’s thrilling debut is a dark and thrilling novel about a teen girl who returns home to her strange, wild family after years of estrangement, perfect for fans of Wilder Girls.
Eleanor Zarrin has been estranged from her wild family for years. When she flees boarding school after a horrifying incident, she goes to the only place she thinks is safe: the home she left behind. Eleanor finds herself desperately trying to hold the family together ā in order to save them all, Eleanor must learn to embrace her family of monsters and tame the darkness inside her.
Exquisitely terrifying, beautiful, and strange, this fierce gothic fantasy will sink its teeth into you and never let go.
Haven’t gotten around to this yet š But it looks so good and creepy! Hopefully it lives up to the cover hype š

Summer Sons by Lee Mandelo (GR/SG) – Andrew and Eddie did everything together, best friends bonded more deeply than brothers, until Eddie left Andrew behind to start his graduate program at Vanderbilt. Six months later, only days before Andrew was to join him in Nashville, Eddie dies of an apparent suicide. He leaves Andrew a horrible inheritance: a roommate he doesnāt know, friends he never asked for, and a gruesome phantom with bleeding wrists that mutters of revenge.
As Andrew searches for the truth of Eddieās death, he uncovers the lies and secrets left behind by the person he trusted most, discovering a family history soaked in blood and death. Whirling between the backstabbing academic world where Eddie spent his days and the circle of hot boys, fast cars, and hard drugs that ruled Eddieās nights, the walls Andrew has built against the world begin to crumble, letting in the phantom that hungers for him.
I’m a major fan of skeletons on books and this is no different! I’ve seen a lot of hype for this book and I hope I’m one of them! Plus, I don’t know why but l like codependent relationships, so that’s another reason why I want to read it!
