Top 5 (hyped books on my TBR) Tuesday

Yay! I’m posting this on the Tuesday the post is out. Does that mean it’ll stay that way? Hmm, don’t know. But let’s see! I’ll admit, I’ve definitely added more hyped books (to my tbr); so this topic was easy, unlike last week’s – because I had to dig deep for that one 😂

A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer (GR/SG) – I’ve heard so many things about this series, now I just need to get to it! It is completed, and luckily I haven’t heard any spoilers about the trilogy, so maybe??

Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall (GR/SG) – Fake dating HELLO, why have I not read this one yet? Maybe soon? I feel like this one will be on the horizon soon.

Heartstopper by Alice Oseman (GR/SG) – It’s in the very early stages of a Netflix adaptation, so I’m fine pushing it off until it’s about a month or before it graces our screens, right? Yeah, come on, back me up!

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas (GR/SG) – PLEASE shame me for I still haven’t read this! I don’t know if I’ll be able to get to it this year, maybe very late this year? Who knows.

These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong (GR/SG) – Maybe I should wait until the sequel is out? Like I KNOW how the original play ends (and also the Baz Lurhman adaptation. And the gnome one 😂), but maybe… I’m hoping this one won’t? I don’t know!

There’s so many more I could add in here. And while we’re at it, we could always have a discussion on what merits a’hyped’ book. For this list, I decided to pick books that had more than 20k ratings on Goodreads (as not everyone reviews as well) and I had to have heard a lot of people talk about the book.
