June Wrap-Up

Life Updates

Well, uhm, nothing much. I did mention in my May Wrap-Up that I entered a short story writing competition. I received Highest Honours! So, didn’t win anything, unfortunately, but there’s always next year and another competition!

I’ve started a Diploma Course of Proofreading and Copyediting! So I’m excited to see where it takes me and what I learn from it!

It’s an online library focusing on Black authors. They’re (the books) are colour-coded with the key in the bio! So, for instance, if you’re looking for an autobiography, you can scroll until you find a post with a yellow background for the book synopsis. It’s a great idea and I’m really liking it and liking to see the posts and books.

Here’s their Instagram. Their website (I believe) isn’t totally set up but there is a book club linked in their bio and the creator said it (the website) will be coming soon! Definitely go follow this account!

That’s all for June! I’m hoping to post more in July! What are your wishes or plans for July? Come chat to me down below in the comments!
