• The Matrix 5 💊 🧑‍💻
  • I mean, this is probably like my 100th rewatch 😂 I use this movie to help me fall asleep (amongst others like How to Train Your Dragon, Lotr, Jurassic Park). But I actually want to rewatch The Matrix trilogy – unlike LOTR – which is nearly always on in our house 😂)
  • I still think this is one of the best movies ever and will probably always think that. It’s been quite a number of years since it came out and it still stands up – the dialogue, the plot, the action scenes?? All impeccably fantastic.

• Annabelle: Creation 5 😱
  • Apparently my sister hasn’t watched this before 😁😁 and like a good sister, I made her watch this. She kept telling me she had to watch some parts through her fingers.
  • We were both confused at a few parts, but this is created after The Conjuring and before The Nun, so once you start to watch the CCU (Conjuring Cinematic Universe), there are some things that don’t make sense, especially regarding Annabelle.

• The Nun 3 😱
  • Unfortunately, a weak movie – but not weaker than the first Annabelle… but I do like Taissa Farmiga. While the plot was good, I think it could have been stronger.

• Annabelle 3 😱
  • I think they made this after The Conjuring? And that was a roaring success. But I think they were too focused on the success and not enough on the movie… But I do like how Creation and this movie line up.

  • We needed a light-hearted movie to watch after Annabelle: Creation so we could sleep. The spider scene is STILL HILARIOUS.

• Arriety 5 🍃
  • I have… only watched the dub of this, so I thought it was time to watching the sub! I LOVED it. I’ve always loved The Borrowers and quite often uhm, well, blame them for you know, eating the chocolate or the cheese. Definitely wasn’t me!
  • But this was a great movie, beautifully shot, and gorgeous scenes.

• The Conjuring 5 🏡
  • 3rd something rewatch of this movie, I think? But it’s still good – otherwise I wouldn’t rewatch it, lol. But, yes, another good title in the CCU.

• A Whisker Away 4 🐈
  • Buddy… watched? this with a friend and it was weird until it became really good and sweet! I loved seeing the cat world – always up for that. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a cute watch!

• Okja 4 🐖
  • My sister told me to watch this movie and gave me NO WARNING to how I would FEEL about it, so therefore, I need to get a new sister.
  • But yeah, uhm DON’T WATCH if you’re sensitive because this is very very hard. But also the kid actor is adorable.

• Men In Black: International 3 🕴️
  • I’ve watched this 3 times? Four? And I still don’t remember the plot. Like I loved the actors in this movie, I just wish the plot was more memorable like the others?

• The Platform 3 🍽️
  • Another movie my sister said I should watch and it… I… no, I didn’t like it. Sorry. I understand that it’s meant to have some big message and I do get it, I just didn’t like it.

The Haunting of Hill House

The Big Bang Theory

• The Haunting of Hill House 5 🏚️
  • Rewatched this with my sister (FINALLY got her to watch it! Locke and Key and Marianne are next!!). I sat through the entire series smiling as my sister asked questions and I just replied with a “I don’t know. Is it. Okay.” with like no inflection as to not to try to answer her questions (she’s doing the same with me when we watch The Handmaid’s Tale, AHS, and The Walking Dead. So she can’t talk).
  • Of course, I loved loved loved this series and will probably watch it again and again. Oh my goodness, and that music??? Absolutely superb.
  • Also I really need to check out that video of all the hidden ghosts!

• The Big Bang Theory S4 👨🏻‍🔬
  • Someday, someday soon, I should rerewatch everything and have a running tally of which character is the worst/says the worst things the most amount of times. Howard will probably be first, but I can see Sheldon or maybe Raj vying for the second spot.

Finished Season # of

American Horror Story: Hotel

• American Horror Story: Freakshow 4 🎪
  • Finally finished this season! And I’m on track to carry on – nearly done with Hotel. I really really want to look at how every season is connected to the others – but of course, I have to WATCH all the seasons before doing so.
  • As much as I liked this season, Kathy Bates was great, and Jessica Lange is, as usual, superb; I did feel that the plot and characters together were too much. Good season, just a lot a lot.

 

I can’t remember which seasons we’ve watched, but my sister has gotten me onto 90 Day Fiancé… and I’m HOOKED. Utterly, utterly hooked. Some couples I’m rooting for and I want them to last, and others I’m like… “No, no way” or it’s just my sister and I moaning about the one couple (last last season it was Mark and Nikki; and last season was Anfisa and Jorge, as well as Nicole and Azan). I thought I wasn’t the biggest reality tv type of person, but oh my goodness, this show… is a lot. And I love it.

 

Yay! I’m nearly finished with The Umbrella Academy, but as June DECIDED it’ll be 30 days and not 31, guess I’ll have my review by my Mid-July What I Watched. Have you watched anything good lately? Tell me about it down below!
