I really enjoyed doing this tag! It made me have to go scurry around Goodreads to look for the right book. Here’s the Bookending Winter post for the last few!! days of the event.

12 Days Of Bookmas
A fun little book tag that forces you to look at your TBR (self torture here we come!) Hopefully, it helps you rediscover books you’ve forgotten or even help you clear up some of the ones you don’t want to read anymore!
On the 12 days of Bookmas, my tbr gave to me: 12 oldest add dates. 11 3 star books. 10 books that are YA. 9 books with girls on the cover. 8 books with highschool settings. 7 books non-contemporary themed. 6 Golden Guy love interests (popular guy). 5 books with the same author. 4 books out of your comfort zone. 3 4 star books. 2 book recommendations. 1 book that you can’t wait to read
12 oldest add dates
I had to scroll and scroll to find a want to read book (I couldn’t just look in the want-to-read shelf as some are on my high-tbr – I have a system. Sort of). so:
All-American Boys by Jason Reynolds
Strange the Dreamer by Lani Taylor
Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
Tiger’s Dream by Colleen Houck – I haven’t TOUCHED this series since high school and probably have forgetten everything about this series (as this is the fifth book in this series) but whenever my friend and I see any of the series in a library or a bookstore we take a photo of it and send it to the other 😂
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli – I thought I read this but apparently I DIDN’T but that’s FINE as it can be one of my first reads for 2020! Actually just got this out of the library, just in time for the first month.
Doors of Death by Patrick Rothfuss – We still have NO IDEA when this is coming out but I am STILL HERE for it.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas – I saw she made a cameo in the movie?? Which I didn’t actually know, so I should definitely watch the movie again.
The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller – I think I might need to start the #startyourshelfathon (I think that’s what it’s called) because I’ve realised there ARE owned books of mine that I really want to read – speaking of THIS one right here!
Not Your Sidekick by C.B. Lee – I’m so amped to read this soon!
The Gentlemen’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee – I definitely want to read this one – hopefully this year.
We Are Okay by Nina LeCour – Everyone shouts about this and I SO NEED TO READ IT.
11 3 star books
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins – I read it such a long time ago and I think I didn’t like the narration? But I definitely need to pick it up again. Or well, since I only finished the first book, so haha.
Wither by Lauren DeStefano – I still need to write a review for this. I definitely think I should’ve read this when it came out as I would’ve liked it more.
Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging – DO NOT watch the movie, it’s not good – sorry, had to be the one to say it. The books are weirdly funny – now of course if I look at it, they all look bad but I guess I had a different sense of humour then?
Marked by P.C. and Kristen Cast – So, I read this back in high school – well my sister and I read them both at the same time. We loved it, even though it is extremely cringey – it’s one of those shamelessly cringey books we keep around for the bad days. I think I might be able to get it on audiobooks so I want to try it out like that. Might wait for my sister and see if she wants to listen to it too.
Uglies by Scott Westerfield – I think I might put this on beat the backlist but there’s not guarantee I’ll read it this year (there’s always next year as well…)
Mechanical Dragons: Fire and Water by Bobbi Schemerhorn –
The Cauldron Stirred by Judith Sterling
The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
The Hollow Boy by Jonathan Stroud – Also another series I’ll have to reread but as much as I can remember – I didn’t like the third books as much as I liked the other book as the third book – The Hollow Boy – had the main female character hating on the new female character and I did not like that so I’ll still carry on with the series but definitely look down for Stroud doing this.

6 Golden Guy love interests (popular guy)
I read more bad boys than golden boys/popular boys it seems 😂
The DUFF by Kody Keplinger – I liked the movie but was upset at the change they made… Like I loved the book AND the movie but the movie felt like they were just inspired by the book and not an adaption.
The Selection by Kiera Cass – A prince counts as popular, right?
To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han – I’ve only watched the movie, but like, Peter is pretty popular, right?
