Top Ten 2020 Highly Anticipated Releases
List out 10 of your highly anticipated releases for next year that you’re excited for!
So like, was there a meetup with publishers to make sure that 2020 is the year our jaws drop to the floor because of all the amazing books coming out?? That’s what it sounds like to me. Sure, 2019 definitely had some good ones but like, wow, 2020! I have an anticipated releases tag coming out soon so I won’t be repeating books (meaning, if I know it’s already in that post, I won’t post it here).
The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi – I don’t care that I haven’t even finished The Gilded Wolves, I want this one.
The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth – lesbian rom-com + montage?
Set Fire to the Gods by Sara Raasch and Kristen Simmons – I’m a huge fan of gladiators (I’ve watched the movie like a hundred times. Still haven’t seen Spartacus the series – it’s on my list, okay. As are like a thousand other things!) – but like??? HAVE YOU SEEN THIS? And there’s fire gods and gladiator games and I am PUMPED.
Faith: Taking Flight by Julie Murphy – A comic about a plus-size superhero? Yeah, I’ll read it.
Star Daughter by Shveta Thakrar – I am all here for space epic operas, thank you!
The Fascinators by Andrew Eliopulos – It makes you think it’s just about a gay teen in love with his friend but then BAM! magic!!
Foul is Fair by Hannah Capin – Like??? Have you read that synopsis? If you haven’t, do it and then add it to Goodreads!
The Life and (Medieval Times of Kit Sweetly by Jamie Pacton – The blurb mentioned A Knight’s Tale + feminism – It’s all there.
The Damned by Renée Ahdieh – I will just be staring at this cover until I have it in my hands, thanks.
The Prettiest by Brigit Young – This looks super interesting!!
