Wahey there! Yes, this is two months in one as I didn’t post a wrap-up at the end of October, so there will be quite a few posts re mine and what I liked to read hahaha enjoy!! I also had to go look at my September Wrap-Up because what is a wrap-up even 🤡 (I’ve recently started to use this emoji more and I am LOVING it because this is like my new favourite emoji).
Supernatural-A-Thon
This was for the month of October! I loved doing this and I’ll probably try another readathon soon! I managed to finish 7 out of the 10 prompts (well, the one book covered 3 prompts, but still). I didn’t feel too bad not finishing all the prompts because I knew going in I wouldn’t be able to finish alll the prompts (I am…still busy with the one book haha).
Books I read
I’m not going to mention all the books I read in both months, just the ones I really liked.
I read Tunnel of Bones, the sequel to City of Ghosts (loved it, love my girl, Cassidy she is great!). How to Be Remy Cameron was absolutely amazing!! Definitely a must-read if you’re looking for a book that’s sappy but also makes you think about the type of person you are or want to be.
A House of Rage and Sorrow – THIS THIS THIS AHHHH. I love loved this book and Sangu JUST announced the title for the third book and I AM LIVING and VIBRATED AT A LOUD FREQUENCY. Sorry not sorry for all the Caps. Ignite the Stars – I’m currently reading the second book (rather slowly 😕) but the first book was excellent?? There’s a great balance between characters and plot and the author is so good with that??
I finally read Wayward Son and was able to see my boys again! It was different than Carry On was and thought it wasn’t as good as Carry On at first and then realised it is great because it’s different than Carry On.
Sick Kids in Love is a book I was really looking forward because the main character has Rheumatoid Arthritis? And I have Rheumatoid Arthritis? I was so excited to see it and it was written really well and Isobel would say or think something about RA and I’m there and going “This is how I feel?” and it was great.
I’ve had Rules for Vanishing on my tbr ever since Kal spoke about it 😂😂😂 and lemme tell you!! I was not let down by this book!! Wonderfully scary and creepy, please do not pull a me and read this late at night 💀
