Bookending Autumn 2019 – Fall Festival Photo Tag

Wednesday 2nd October

Fall Festival Book Photo Tag

Using fall colors (red, orange, black, white, green) and books you have read or want to read during the fall.

Wahey, readers! I’m so excited it’s Bookending Autumn! Today’s post prompt is from Danielle @ PoetryBooksYA, so go check it out! I can’t wait for this month and today’s prompt looks really interesting and brings out my inner librarian/bookstore worker – i.e. ‘I remember the book’s cover colour’ 😄

Disclaimer: Please note that I have not read all the books listed here and therefore cannot truly say whether a book is x or y, just assume it is from the shelf tags and the description. All mistakes made are by yours truly. Covers are from Goodreads, links are to the book’s Goodreads’ page and the featured image is made by me, but the Bookending Autumn Logo comes from the heads of Bookend Events.

Chilly – Book with a white cover (sad plot/line setting)

I Crawl Through It by A.S. King

Sweet – Book with an orange cover (Favourite contemporary novel)

The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic

Spicy – Book with a red cover (action/fast-paced setting)

The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

Dark – Book with a black or dark cover (dark, twisted theme)

The Wicker King by K. Ancrum

33158541 (1)

Green – Book with a green cover that makes you feel jealous

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling (and fanfiction writers ajskdsjkdj, don’t unfollow me please. I like having all of you here)

Yay! There’s my answers for the tag! Did you do this tag? What were your answers? Did you like mine?

      1. I blame that all my books are in piles on the ground. It’s hard to choose books when you can’t see what you’re picking from!! 😂

      2. Hahaha that would be a problem. I just went to my goodreads I’m like ‘lemme judge by the cover real quickly’ 😂😂 pretty happy with my choices

  3. Thanks for doing my tag!! This was so much fun!! Also why would people be upset at you for choosing HP5 for your green cover?

    1. 😁 ah no I said that because I don’t often agree with what jkr has done with the series and FanFiction has fixed it 😂

  4. I’m definitely going to do this tag. Of all these books, I only own The Wicker King – I’ve been meaning to get Foxhole Court though, it’s supposed to be amazing!

    1. You need to read The Foxhole Court!!! You need to read about the characters 😭😭😭

  5. I was just thinking about that.. I *might* do it, but cheat a little and go solely by book colors that I have in my personal library XD thoses types of tags are just SO hard for me .. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Also, I’ve just added I crawl through it to my virtual wanna read ! That is definately something I relate with, so this is right up my alley!

    1. I half and half-ed it. Clicked on the All Books shelf on GR. For the favourite contemporary one I just chose one I’ve already read.
      It is a good tag!

About Me

Hi! I’m DB and I really like reading! I mean, of course I do – otherwise this wouldn’t be a book blog. It would be full of pictures of my cat. But come and look at whatever I’ve got on this blog!
