Top Ten Tuesday – August 27

Wahey! That Artsy Reader Girl now takes care of this meme. Today is Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library (perhaps you checked it out, borrowed it from a friend, received it for review, etc. and want to own it yourself.). So this is probably going to be a long one – because I’d like to have so many of the books I’ve read in my personal library. And then just live in the world – which is why I love the Inkworld trilogy so much.

But let’s carry on!! I also limited myself a bit, otherwise this post would be like 300 titles, so you’re welcome lol.

White Cat by Holly Black – I listened to this, and the narrator is Jesse Eisenberg – whose voice I weirdly like (I also love Zombieland so much). But I’d definitely like this as a physical book. Or well, the entire series.

Patron Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay – I recently read this book and it’s amazing???

City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab – CASSIDY BLAKE is excellent!!

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng – She writes families that you NEED more of and you NEED to know everything about them.

The Nowhere Girls by Amy Reed – This was such an amazing amazing book and my heart just hurt throughout this entire book.

A List of Cages by Robin Roe – ADAM AND JULIAN I LOVE THEM THEYRE FANTASTIC.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – I definitely need to reread this (and probably Grisha trilogy too) and then I can read King of Scars!!

A Ferry of Bones and Gold by Hailey Turner – My review of this is very late but it’s an excellent book, so go read it.

Chameleon Moon by RoAnna Sylver – This book?? Fantastic, excellent, just amazing.

Stake Sauce, Arc 1: The Secret Ingredient is Love, No Really by RoAnna Sylver – How can you talk about Chameleon Moon and NOT TALK about Stake Sauce??

I’m also probably thinking of other books I’m currently reading now and thinking I NEED THIS IN MY LIBRARY and then there are others I still haven’t started yet but I know I’ll love it – so these are all the books I’d love to have in my personal library and then just take them around with me everywhere so people see it and read them.

Which books that you’ve read that you need right now are in your physical library? Which of mine do you have in your library that you like to look at all the time?

I recently bought the first book of the Grisha Trilogy (I’m super late I know) and a friend gave me King of Scars so I guess I’ll get to it after I read all the other books lol.
    Great post!

    1. I feel the exact same thing – I’ll have to (re)read all the other books before getting to King of Scars because it’s been a while since I read either series and have forgotten quite a bit 😄
But it is a good series! That I can tell you 😁

  6. I didn’t realize Jessie E. did any narrating lol, now I want to know how he does as a narrator in an audiobook! I recently just bought a book I read the eARC of because I really wanted to own a physical copy lol

    1. He does a really good job, actually! I’m a bit biased because I like his voice though 😄 though that is an important opinion to have for an audiobook, I think. Lol, that’s very understandable. I think if I had to buy physical books of all the arcs I enjoyed I’d have to get a new bookshelf 😂 or take my old books to a second hand bookstore to be exchanged for store credit – which I need to do again 😂

  7. Again, I haven’t read any of thoses on your list xD
Mmmh- let’s see. I need the Sovereign trilogy from Josie Jaffrey, All the bright Places, and letters to the losts, among others that I can’t think of right now ahah

    1. I think I have The Gilded King? As an ebook, I mean. I read All the Bright Places a few years ago and definitely need to pick it up and reread before the movie comes out!

  8. Glad to see someone else joining me in the Three-Digit Wishes club! I can definitely relate to your Inkworld comment. Haven’t read any of these, but A List of Cages is in holding on my TBR next time I need a solid dose of Quality Boys in YA (a need that comes around every 5-6 months or so, and then drives me up the wall when I can’t find any suitable options by shelf browsing).

    1. Inkworld is just excellent and the movie doesn’t do it justice (except for making Brendan Fraser Mo and whichever actor Dustfinger). A List of Cages NEEDS to be read!! It’s a real good Quality Boys book
